Dear Mr. Peyton,
I am writing to recommend the services of Apex Waterproofing. My basement flooded a few months ago and I had gotten several estimates from different waterproofing companies for repairs. Apex was not only the most knowledgeable but also had the most reasonable estimates. I felt the most comfortable with the solution proposed by Apex and was extremely pleased with the estimated cost.
Once I was ready to have the work performed I contacted Apex and they were very timely in their response. The work was scheduled within two weeks. The workers were punctual and extremely efficient in getting the work done. The entire job was completed in three days and the work area was left clean. 90% of the work was completed on the first day and the remaining work to be completed simply required drying time for the materials applied. I was completely satisfied with the work and look forward to having a flood free basement.
I am also planning on getting a quote for some additional basement remodeling and look forward to working with Apex and their excellent staff again.

Thank you to Lou and his team for outstanding service in waterproofing & remodeling my basement after a major hurricane caused damages. My outside sump pump had failed due to no power (not the first time), hence water in my basement - again. I contacted Apex Waterproofing to get an estimate for installing a basement waterproofing system in my basement. Sam came to my home to assess my basement water leak issues, educated me on causes of the leaks, and discussed the pros and cons of different waterproofing systems recommending I have an interior drain and sump pump system installed. Apex provided me with an estimate in less than 12 hours after assessing the leak. I received estimates from two additional waterproofing companies and chose Apex - they had the lowest price and seemed to have the best solution. On the day of the waterproofing system installation, Sam, Jamie and the Apex crew walked me through the installation process, worked efficiently and professionally, and finished a few hours ahead of schedule. They took care to minimize dust and cleaned up before they left. I am very satisfied with Apex Waterproofing, and after many rains, and happy with the results.

We bought our house and found out there was a water problem in our
basement. During moderate rains, we would flood and water would
continue coming into our basement for an entire day and with heavy
rains, for longer periods. We hired a contractor to install an
exterior system to the tune of 15,000. It didn't work. He came out and
did us a favor by modifying the system at a minimal charge. It still
didnt work and we had to replace our carpet 3 times which added
another 5,000. Our basement is about 1/3 of our square footage and the
play room for our 2 young boys. Not having use of our basement was
brutal to say the least. We spoke to our neighbors who had a system
installed by Apex. Lou, Sam and Jamie came in, fixed the problem for
1/3 of what we spent and about half of another contractor who gave us
a quote. If I had a time machine! Lou, Sam and Jamie came in fast and
did what they said and literally the day after they finished, we got 3
inches of rain and our boys played in our dry basement the whole time.

After many months of researching potential firms to remedy our longterm wet crawlspace problems, we recently decided to employ the services of Apex Waterproofing.
This was a difficult decision because many "waterproofing" and "damp-proofing" companies are nothing more than marketeers selling a "bill of goods" and not necessarily solutions. Not so with Apex. Literally minutes, not days, after submitting a request for a no-cost inspection and analysis, I received a call from Lou Peyton of Apex - impressive! Within two days of initial contact, Lou personally conducted an inspection of the crawlspace and foundation, then offered a viable, cost-effective solution. Upon signing the contract the next day, Lou scheduled work to commence the following week. As promised, Lou and his crew arrived on time, and on the scheduled day - again, impressive! The multi-day project went exactly as Lou had depicted, without a glitch, and the work continued on contiguous days until completion; no gaps, stalling tactics, or contractor games!
The work crew was very professional, courteous, and hard working. When the job concluded, there was no evidence they were ever here - spic and span! I would strongly recommend Apex Waterproofing to anyone looking for a solution to their home water intrusion problems.

I highly recommend Louis Peyton and his Apex Waterproofing Company in Lake Ridge, VA.  They did a professional and superb job fixing a ‘snap key’ hole on my basement wall today. As it turned out, after excavating to the ‘snap key’ hole, they noticed a fine hairline crack from the hole to the top of the soil line in the foundation.  This fine hairline crack was noticeable from the outside wall, and not much from the inside wall.  They waterproofed the hole and the hairline crack as well without extra charge.  After finishing the job, they did a great job replacing my plants, etc. back to their original state.  You would not know that an excavation had taken place at end of the day.  What professionals!

Another reason I recommend them is that Louis and his team were very patient and courteous in answering all my related concerns regarding water management of my basement.  They were very knowledgeable and were able to make other recommendations.
